Power House AB, global provider of power solutions for the marine and industrial industry, is pleased to announce its expansion into Norway. This strategic move aims to tap into Norway’s thriving marine industry and starts off by establishing office in Kristiansand.
The expansion is made possible by the recruitment of three key individuals with extensive maritime experience; Bjørnar Bakke and Ole Andreas Sørensen, Key Account Managers based in Kristiansand; and Hårek Flathaug, travelling Technical Specialist based in Oslo. All three with many years of experience in the marine commercial sector, and they are of course backed by the Swedish organization in Gothenburg.
We are thrilled to expand our operations to Norway and welcome these talented individuals to our team,” said Richard Johansson, CEO of Power House. “Norway’s strong maritime heritage and offshore capabilities make it the ideal location for our growth. We are confident that our complete power solutions, combined with the expertise of our new team members, will enable us to build strategic partnerships as well as great relationships with our customers.”

Power House AB is known for its marine auxiliary gensets, propulsion engines, industrial engines, and spare parts, offering comprehensive solutions to meet the diverse needs of its clients. With this expansion, Power House aims to strengthen its position as a reliable partner for the marine industry in all of Scandinavia, with establishing Power House Norway AS as a step in this direction.
Power House is now looking forward to offering a whole range of products; from our own gensets to Mitsubishi gensets and Volvo Penta gensets, Hyundai propulsion engines, and spare parts through the well-developed Marine Parts Europe platform. In addition, we can also offer the IMO III compliant emission reduction system IMANOx. Above all we will be able to offer from a power range that extends from 40 to 3850 kW.” Richard Johansson continues, “We have had good relationships in Norway since long before and are already established on the market. The official expansion to Norway is now a key enabler to help strengthen these relationships even further.”
